Raised in downtown Toronto but her music comes from the hills, Anne-Louise writes old time, traditional narrative country and bluegrass bringing salt and pepper to songs about everything. Long transplanted to Canada's Yukon, she is inspired by the timeless nature of human experience and the thought of someday living with running water.

Shiloh Lindsey

An Outlaw small town runaway wretch with a voice like barbed wire on velvet, words like a chainsaw on glass she’s looking at the world through a kaleidoscope of funhouse mirrors. Shiloh combines images of the beauty, darkness and determination that have brought her this far.

Imagine a sound so raw, pure, and strong, that it is less like listening to a new voice than discovering a new sense altogether. From crisp & clarion to a soft & sexy whisper,   Coco is a dynamic singer-songwriter with her own personal brand of acoustic-driven music. Her new solo record features all originals in an acoustic blend of  Jazz, Folk and R&B.

Kim Barlow

Kim Barlow's songs are wry and impassioned, deft distillations of the beautiful and absurd world she inhabits. Playing guitar, banjo, and cello, this Yukon based Juno nominee uses her training as a classical musician to create complex and unexpected settings for her fables of lost children, plaints of lust, and songs of protest.

Taylor James is a gutsy performer whose contagious energy, love of electric guitar slide solos, wisecracks and intimate acoustic composition, leaves audiences in Canada & all over the World wanting to hear more. With three albums behind her, the newest is an acoustic solo with dynamic guitar playing and versatile vocal delivery.

Rae Armour

Rae's  music is a mix of Westcoast folk-roots and alt country – developed out of her Rock 'n Roll background and blossomed into a 30-year career with a lot of love and nurturing in between.

Upbeat and inspiring, honestly delivered, witty, sensitive, and gutsy.

Take Juliana Hatfield with a Chrissie Hynde like swagger fronting Radiohead with Bodycount's rhythm section and you'll have an idea of what HECTOR is all about. The bass 'n drum duo includes Darryl R. Shackelly on drums and accomplished bassist Andréa Hector, who is responsible for writing of the material and programming.

Nadine Davenport

Nadine is the Producer & the creative mind behind Grrrls With Guitars.  She also has the craft of songwriting down to a complete art form. Her stage performance is captivating. Nadine has a full-bodied voice which demands attention &  her singing comes with such ease that it seems almost unnatural.

Yael grew up in the big city but now makes her home deep in BC’s interior mountains. Her songs are tapestries of urban landscapes and backcountry tales, woven moments of life both ethereal and worldly. Simple melodies and dexterous words that quickly capture the head and then the soul.

Po' Girl

Take the bellow of the blues, the wail of a gypsy fiddle, punk-rock street poetry, a cajun love song, and depression-era jazz, mix it all up and add some old R&B. The sound of Nettwerk recording artists Po' Girl

( Allison Russell, Trish Klein, Diona Davies) is elusive yet rich with musical references. It's all in there.

GreenTaRA (Tara Nicole Donald) delivers music with a conscious message, inventive melodies and acoustic riffs. This internationally acclaimed urban roots artist is emerging as one of the northwest’s finest independent gems. Her musical genre has been described  as "music of the people".

LOUD

Utilizing primarily the taiko (Japanese drums) and electric guitar, LOUD (Eileen Kage, Leslie Komori, Elaine Stef) has been creating music described as "the soundtrack to the world breathing and the soul stirring".  Formed in 1996, LOUD has toured nationally and internationally, and regularly lends their support to the community, performing at prisons and fund-raising events.

ASH RIOT is a 21 year-old artist with an old school rock ‘n roll spirit whose poetic lyrics could stitch the wounds of any hungry soul, rising from one experience to another, whether it be painful, beautiful, pensive or observant.

Kristia Di Gregorio

Kristia’s brand of smoky-cool vocals and jazz based folk noir is hauntingly influenced by old-world New Orleans. Pushing the boundaries of traditional folk, jazz and blues for a sound that is at once dynamic and subtle, flirtatious and coy, then sexy and dark, leaving the listener yearning for more of her… and no one else.

Barley Wik  ( Paula McGuigan, Auto Jansz, Michelle Voisin, Liza Holder) are a boot-stompin’, head-swayin’, soul-stirren’ traditional folk-country quartet.  Although it's hard to pin them down to any one style, their music could be called “folk-country with a bluegrass twist”.   These gals will warm your soul with breathtaking harmonies and rock solid musicianship.  "Prairie sunsets with a Tennessee shuffle." ahhhh!

Christa Couture

Like “Nick Drake on E” and “Tori Amos with a guitar” Christa gives up all her lovely and messy bits to a blend of folk, quirk and bark. A formidable young woman armed with a haunting voice and a quick-witted, poignant turn-of-phrase.
